The move set

Why it rules

Fire Pro plays like a real match: build-up, selling, comebacks. Then it gives you the tools to recreate any wrestler and any promotion you can imagine.

01 / TIMING

Timing-based grappling

Lock-ups are won by pressing at exactly the right moment. Mash the buttons and you'll be reversed into next week.

02 / PSYCHOLOGY

Matches that tell a story

Start with strikes and small holds and build up to the big stuff. Go for a bomb too early and it simply won't land.

03 / EDIT

Legendary edit mode

A huge library of parts and a massive move list let fans recreate almost anyone. They've done it in staggering numbers.

04 / LOGIC

CPU logic editor

Program how AI wrestlers behave: what they go for, when they go for it and how often. CPU vs CPU matches play out like the real thing.

05 / COMMUNITY

Workshop wonderland

On Steam, Fire Pro Wrestling World taps into an enormous library of fan-made wrestlers, rings and logos.

06 / MODES

Fighting Road & promotions

An NJPW-licensed story campaign, plus a promotion mode where you book cards, manage talent and build your own wrestling dynasty.

Rookie tips

Before your first bell

Fire Pro has a learning curve. These tips will flatten it.

  1. Don't mash the lock-upPress as the wrestlers come together. One well-timed tap beats ten frantic ones.
  2. Start smallEarly in the match, use strikes and weak grapples. Big moves only work once your opponent is worn down.
  3. Read the body languageHealth bars are hidden by default, so watch your opponent's posture and how slowly they get up.
  4. Test edits in CPU vs CPUSet two creations loose against each other to tune their logic before you take them into the ring yourself.
  5. Raid the WorkshopBefore you spend ten hours building someone, check whether the community already has.
